Ultravision International Continues To Pursue Its Patent Claims

Ultravision International is continuing to pursue its patent infringement lawsuits related to its Modular LED Digital patents in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The U.S. based company has filed lawsuits against Absen, AOTO, Leyard, Ledman, Liantronics, Prismaflex, Samsung, Unilumin, and Yaham.

The press release stats that Ultravision designed and patented numerous inventions related to Modular LED Digital Displays, which they say have fundamentally changed the LED Display industry by eliminating the need for cabinet displays.

A little bit of research will show you that Ultravision has 34 patents related to Modular LED Display technology. Modular LED Digital Displays typically lower the cost of installation and operation for LED Digital Displays.

William Hall, CEO and Founder of Ultravision International told us “The incredible, global demand for outdoor and indoor direct view LED Video Walls tells us buyers recognize the value of the Modular LED Digital Display technology. Foreign-made, Modular LED Displays, that infringe on Ultravision patents, are being sold in America. This is a good example of Asian companies potentially copying American IP”.

Ultravision has successfully pursued patent infringement claims before and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas ordered said company to pay Ultravision both compensatory and treble damages for its patent infringement. At the time, the Court also issued a permanent injunction prohibiting the foreign company, its officers, and its affiliated entities from importing products that infringe on Ultravision International patents.
