Each year, on April 15, World Art Day celebrations help reinforce the links between artistic creations and society, encourage greater awareness of the diversity of artistic expressions and highlight the contribution of artists to sustainable development.
It’s a global event organised by the International Association of Art (IAA/AIAP), an NGO partner of UNESCO but what with everything else going on around the world many would have possibly missed it.
Anyhow, to celebrate World Art Day this year, OUTFRONT Media joined forces with several artists to create messages of motivation, positivity, and unity which were shared on their digital out of home assets across North America.
Their ‘Uplifting America’ OUTFRAME Collaboration includes artwork from contemporary street artist and graphic designer Shepard Fairey (shown above), OUTFRONT Studios (shown below), Direct Agents, and several other artists from different creative agencies across the country.
The goal was to simply provide Americans with hope and inspiration from the artwork on their canvases.
