The BCMA (Branded Content Marketing Association) has launched a new competition, dubbed Pitch Influence which is focused on the Influencer marketing industry.

It’s free to enter and the competition is designed to stimulate creativity in the pitching process and based on the well-known elevator pitch concept.

Entries from Social Media Influencers, Agencies and Content Creators will be accepted through the curation of a one-minute video. Individuals can pitch themselves or companies as long as its applicable to a potential Influencer marketing campaign.

Gordon Glenister, Global Head of Influencer Marketing told us “I am super excited about this, all of us have had a challenging time over the last few months, and so we wanted to create an opportunity to showcase our industry in the best way possible.”

The competition is supported by the Influence Global Podcast and Borderless Live, PR Week and Campaign magazine. are exclusive media partners. Senior Exhibitor Director, Simon Press and headline sponsor Borderless Live told us “We live in uncertain times, and we’ve been delighted to bring our industry together by supporting such an exciting competition with the final here at Tobacco Dock in London”.

The first round will be completed by the end of July then an esteemed group of judges will select the final five agencies and five content creators for a final three-minute pitch to an audience at the Borderless Live event on the September 11, 2020. The winner of best agency and best content creator will win £1,000 and an award as well as the exposure from the PR that will no doubt follow.

The BCMA, an established membership organisation for the branded content industry launched The BCMA Influence in July 2019 with the aim of supporting best practice and working to a professional code of conduct.
