In line with its commitment to innovation, performance and accessibility, Quebec-based Quebecor (TSX: QBR.A, QBR.B) is teaming up with Hivestack to offer its inventory of digital street furniture on Hivestack’s programmatic buying platform.

This follows last week’s announcement that Quebecor had chosen Broadsign, the world’s biggest out-of-home platform to power it’s digital out-of-home division.

Hivestack is combining mobile and programmatic technologies, data science and out-of-home advertising to provide a service that is intuitive and user-friendly for both advertisers and Quebecor.

Patrick Jutras, Senior Vice-President and Chief Advertising Officer of Quebecor and Groupe TVA told us “The decision to expand access to programmatic buying of our out-of-home inventory was driven by our commitment to innovation and our desire to offer our customers a complete service. Hivestack offers our partners considerable flexibility. They are a Quebec company that has acquired a reputation for innovation in digital out-of-home. We are very pleased to be working with them and to broaden their footprint in the Canadian market with our Quebec-wide inventory.”

Programmatic ad buys are available on Quebecor’s network of more than 120 digital screens in Montreal, Laval, Sherbrooke, Lévis and South Shore Montreal, where eight more screens will be added on August 25, 2020. The modern structures are centrally located in these lively neighbourhoods and harmoniously integrated into their surroundings, while attracting the attention of a diverse, receptive audience and generating 3.5 million impressions per day.

Michelle Bodnar, Vice-President Global Publisher Development at Hivestack said “Quebecor operates highly-coveted DOOH screens in bus shelters across Quebec, Hivestack’s home province. We’re proud to make this amazing inventory available for programmatic purchase through the Hivestack platform. We expect to see significant programmatic activations from digital marketers that wish to target urban consumers on Quebecor’s high-reach advertising assets.”

Hivestack is a global, full stack, marketing technology company that powers the buy and sell-side of programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising. On the buy side, marketers use Hivestack’s Demand-Side Platform to create measurable campaigns that activate DOOH screens in real time based on consumer behaviour and audience movement patterns. On the sell-side, DOOH media owners use Hivestack’s Supply-Side Platform & Ad Exchange to attract programmatic revenue. DOOH media owners can also use Hivestack’s Ad Server to power audience-based, directly sold campaigns. Attribution is a first class-citizen throughout Hivestack’s platform, offering buyers and sellers the ability to measure business outcomes at all stages of the consumer sales funnel.
