GSTV, the national video network entertaining targeted audiences at scale across tens of thousands of fuel retailers, has been named the official 2020 media partner of the NACS Foundation, the non-profit dedicated to propelling brighter futures by unifying the convenience industry and amplifying the great work being done every day in communities across America.

Stephanie Sikorski, Executive Director of the NACS Foundation said “We’re excited to work with GSTV to keep consumers up to date with the latest developments and achievements in our mission to propel brighter futures”.

The U.S. convenience store industry’s 152,000-plus stores conduct 165 million transactions a day and sell 80% of the fuel purchased in the United States. Created to support convenience retailers and their local communities, the NACS Foundation has five signature programs: aiding disaster relief and serving first responders and medical personnel; helping in the fight against childhood diseases; investing in education and career opportunities for future industry leaders; preventing hunger and food insecurity; and keeping towns and communities beautiful.

GSTV will support these signature programs and initiatives via video content at fuel dispensers across the U.S. GSTV has also created a charitable match program with partners joining the NACS Foundation to spotlight the convenience industry’s role in supporting first responders, medical personnel and American Red Cross volunteers on the industry’s 24/7 Day, scheduled for July 24, 2020. Developed in partnership with the American Red Cross and launched by the convenience store industry in 2019, which is closely identified with 24/7 operations at convenience stores across the country, 24/7 Day celebrates and honors the life-saving work being done every day by hometown heroes who work around the clock serving our communities to ensure people don’t face emergencies alone.

Sean McCaffrey, President and CEO of GSTV told us “We know more and more consumers are seeking out positive, uplifting content, and for millions of Americans filling up their vehicles every day, GSTV has become a bright spot for entertaining and informing those communities. We’re thrilled to partner with the NACS Foundation to support their important community-based initiatives, and share with our viewers how they can participate.”

Convenience stores support local organizations and charities, contributing and collecting more than $1 billion annually to charities. The NACS Foundation unifies and builds on NACS members’ charitable efforts—amplifying the industry’s power to positively impact the lives of individuals and families of all ages, in neighborhoods of all sizes, across America and beyond.

Partnering with the NACS Foundation falls in line with GSTV’s own pursuit of philanthropic support, executed under the company’s #GSTVSupports program. Each year, the company works with various organizations based on key areas of social interest and topics identified with the company, and efforts include community outreach, corporate donations, and donated network air time.

The GSTV network is currently located across more than 24,000 locations and growing, and reaches 95 million unique viewers a month.
