Here in Europe many of us are familiar with seeing a fleet of 100+ Tesla vehicles operating as taxis at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport but eagle eyed folks may well now be able to spot one in New York City.

The Tesla Model 3 is the first electric vehicle approved as a yellow cab in New York City by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC). In Amsterdam it is a fleet made up of Tesla Model S.
