Large format Out of Home media owner blowUP media has signed a long-term partnership with real estate investment company Wereldhave.

blowUP media have expanded their Digital Out of Home network The Collective with high-quality digital screens in the recently renewed city centre of Tilburg. This, the seventh largest city in the Netherlands, is the latest addition to this digital OOH network, which is already a success in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Eindhoven.

Katrin A. Robertson, CEO blowUP media Group told us “We are very happy to acquire another important Dutch city for our DOOH network. With the Wereldhave shopping centre in Tilburg, we are further expanding our premium Giant Poster portfolio with digital assets, as part of our growth and innovation strategy at blowUP media. With networks such as The Collective in the Netherlands or Frontline in Belgium, we can offer brands first-class state-of-the-art premium digital exposure, in addition to our landmark Giant Poster locations. We enable clients to engage with their target audience with maximum impact, such as large emotional images as well as flexible and dynamic content.”

A mix of commercials, art, locally relevant and up-to-date content is broadcasted on the Premium Plus screens. The Super Motions will be installed in phases in the coming months. The Tilburg shopping area attracts 10.4 million visitors per year.

State-of-the-art digital screens that blend seamlessly with the architecture
. The positioning of the Tilburg shopping area is modern and high-quality, with quality shops and restaurants in a stylish shopping area with iconic shop fronts. The digital screens of blowUP media therefore fit seamlessly with the architecture.

A 90 degree 60,5m2 Super Motion screen will be installed in the Emmapassage. This eye-catching LED screen is wall mounted and continues under the car bridge over the passage. Due to its special shape, visitors and residents are treated to a striking visual experience from overhead, which is unique in the Netherlands. This innovative screen ensures long-term engagement and strenghtens every digital OOH campaign.
In the Frederikstraat, 4 high-quality screens (32m2 in total) are placed opposite each other (2×2), which can be used separately, combined as one and simultaneously working. And at the intersection of Heuvelstraat and Pieter Vreedestraat, a high-impact corner screen (13,5m²) will be installed.

The Emmapassage has recently undergone a radical metamorphosis. The shopping centre has been transformed into a modern inner-city shopping area. Via Frederikstraat, the Emmapassage connects to Heuvelstraat and thus strengthens the shopping circuit in the city centre. The Super Motions are specially designed by blowUP media for this retail area and the specific locations.

Ernst Vos, Chief Commercial Officer blowUP media Group said “Wereldhave and the municipality of Tilburg are showing a high level of ambition with the long-awaited renovation of the Tilburg city centre. This fits our Collective® of Premium Plus screens where we always strive for positive impact on environments and involvement with residents and visitors. Through high-quality technology, digital art and interaction we hope to stimulate the local economy and partnerships. With this further expansion of The Collective in the 7th largest city of the Netherlands, advertisers gain access to another important economic engine in the Southern part of the country – in addition to our digital landmark in Eindhoven.”
