Pharmacy Health Network

Chris Sheldrake

Always good to see new networks of size come about or be announced and under the radar of a lot of people in the industry, last week saw Cardinal Health (a not insignificant sized company, being No. 19 on the Fortune 500) announce the Pharmacy Health Network, described as “a digital signage network designed to reach retail pharmacy customers with dynamic video at the point-of influence”.

The network was formally introduced to Cardinal Health’s independent pharmacy partners, franchisees, and vendors at their annual Retail Business Conference in Washington DC.

We are expecting that Cardinal will separate the official PHN press release from the event coverage and will make a further announcement in the next week or so.

The PHN site, www.phntv.com, however, is already up and public, and provides some pretty good detail on what the network is about and will be.

We think but are not sure that this is a win for Real Digital Media.
