Every few weeks we are asked our opinion on various digital signage software solutions. First, it’s great that we are asked – we learn a lot from how it’s asked, why it’s asked and from who asks it. In fact it’s a true win-win so please do keep those questions coming!
Our answer(s) of course are often different depending on circumstance, needs, environment, geography, timings etc., etc.
Last month we were asked by an African network for some software recommendations for their network of giant, outdoor LED billboards. There’s a lot of software solutions to choose from and as we have pointed out before if you look closely enough not really that much difference between any of them.
In this instance, we suggested that they take a look at providers who had some experience in their particular field (outdoor LED billboards etc) and so our list back to them included the likes of Telentice, C-nario and Dynamax who can claim CBS Outdoor, JC Decaux and Titan respectively as customers.
After all in many instances it makes sense to do business with people who have some experience of what you do too!
Last week we were asked to look at and comment on the solutions provided by Scala, Broadsign, ScreenRed and Wirespring for a network in Eastern Europe. It’s a big job and it’s something that we are currently working on at the moment.
So, let me re-iterate, if you want comment then let us know. If we can publish what we say (we are not usually allowed) then so much the better.
