The final stop of the ill-advised ISE Live and Online event series took place on June 23-24 at Evolution, Battersea and whilst the organisers were seemingly reluctant to release numbers for that individual event, they can be worked out from their latest release promoting ‘all the action from ISE Live and Online’ now available on demand.

In the press release, Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events, said: “It’s been an incredibly challenging 18 months for events. Thankfully, at ISE, we have an amazing team and like so many in our industry, we wanted to keep pushing forward. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved with ISE Live & Online – 3,000 in-person visitors to the live events and the debut of ISE Digital a rich content resource which will remain accessible for months to come – it’s not been an easy ride, but we did it and we did it for the right reasons”.

So with that 3,000 number across both events now official and ISE @ Barcelona having seen 2,421 it doesn’t take a ticket scientist to work out that over two days combined, ISE @ London only welcomed 579 visitors.

The organiser’s latest press release stated that “Feedback has been positive” but I fail to see how those who supplied quotes; Performance Screens, an AudioTek Company; Shure, LANG could seriously be happy and have got their money’s worth out of exhibiting.

The next Integrated Systems Events are the Digital Signage Summit (DSS) Europe which takes place in-person on September 29-30 at Hilton Munich Airport and of course #ISE2022 will take place at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via on February 1-4, 2022.
