#InfoComm21 @BrightSign Not ‘ALL IN” For Orlando

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

As with dozens and dozens of others, Brightsign are the latest to not be ‘ALL IN’ for #InfoComm21 in October BUT at least they have officially announced that they are scaling back their presence.

In an article published by AV Magazine, BrightSign CEO Jeff Hastings said “BrightSign is foregoing a traditional booth in favour of a private meeting room, following the spread of the Delta variant and a plateau in US vaccination rates”.

Whilst Jeff writes well in the story, if the truth be told, folks like this are probably just hanging in there with a booth in case AVIXA do cancel and they can get their money back.

Yes, we want to be sure people who do decide to go to InfoComm know our plans and know that we will be there. It’s about the safety of our employees, not about hedging our bets. We’re pretty sure the show will go on, and we will do our best to meet with as many partners and hopefully new prospects in a safe and controlled environment.
