OUTFRONT Media Inc. (NYSE:OUT) has been awarded a five-year transit and transit shelter advertising contract by The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) in Las Vegas, Nevada. This new acquisition in Las Vegas and the Southern Nevada area adds to OUTFRONT’s already expansive West Region portfolio. The contract will include 1600 bus shelters throughout Southern Nevada, with 10 digital shelters on the ever-popular Las Vegas strip. OUTFRONT plans to add 20 digital shelters to those existing assets on the Strip, which is the focal point for Las Vegas’ famed restaurants, casinos, hotels, and more. Additionally, there are 385 buses within the contract that travel throughout Southern Nevada, which include 26 double-decker buses exclusively serving the Strip in Las Vegas Valley. Along with full Strip coverage, the transit media provides exposure to the entire general market of the region.

With the largest population in the state and millions of tourists every year, this booming market’s extensive public transit system drives the value of the market for both residents and visitors.

“We are pleased to be awarded this contract by the RTC and excited for our future deployments and enhanced digital offerings for both advertisers and commuters,” said Andy Sriubas, Chief Commercial Officer of OUTFRONT. “We are looking forward to increasing our advertising footprint in one of the fastest growing markets in the country.”

The contract was officially awarded by the RTC and its board of directors last week and will be effective beginning October 1, 2022.
