Interesting that France Telecom’s (FTE.PA) brand Orange, a mobile telecommunications provider of course, should have bought British digital advertising network Unanimis [1] (reported over Reuters last Friday)
Unanimis is the UK’s largest exclusive digital advertising network with such website brands as Ticketmaster (and a nice GBP 21.7 million in revenue at the end of its 2008 fiscal year).
The two companies declined to disclose financial details of the deal but Orange did say that the purchase would boost its mobile and online advertising revenues.
