Damon Crowhurst will leave Samsung on February 28 2023. He is been with Samsung in a couple of senior executive positions for the past eight years.
He told us that he is returning to South Africa with his family to Cape Town for some “sun, sand and sea”.
He leaves Samsung on a high after two record breaking years for the UK Display business. Damon started out in the digital signage industry with Inspired Signage and moved to Scala after helping conclude the sale of the business to AMX. He then joined Samsung as head of their European Display business and after five years was asked to take over the UK business which had stalled. During the last three years he has overseen significant growth and he leaves with 2022 having set a new revenue record for the UK.
