Uniguest has acquired MediaStar (MediaStar, was the flagship brand of Cabletime’s IPTV, streaming and digital signage solutions but took centre stage when the company changed its name to MediaStar Systems back in February 2020).

Uniguest CEO Jeff Hiscox told us “MediaStar Systems is one of the best known and most trusted providers of secure and reliable IP video distribution and digital signage delivery. Adding the MediaStar solution range to our existing Tripleplay, UCView and Onelan systems adds additional capabilities to our offerings and ensures we stay the leader in the digital engagement market. We are delighted to welcome the MediaStar team to the Uniguest technology family.”

MediaStar was founded in 1984 and based in Newbury, United Kingdom, MediaStar Systems develops IPTV and digital signage software and hardware.

Uniguest is a portfolio company of Atlantic Street Capital and in the last several years has acquired CPI Global’s hospitality division, Otrum AS, JANUS Displays, Sagely, UCView, Volara and Planet eStream. In 2018 it acquired ONELAN and in 2019 Tripleplay.
