Make-A-Wish + Lamar In-Kind Donation

Lamar Advertising (Nasdaq: LAMR), one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world, this week announced that it has selected Make-A-Wish as its In-Kind Partner for 2023.

Throughout the upcoming year, Lamar will donate more than a million dollars in Digital Out of Home media to support the organization’s fundraising efforts and raise awareness of the life-changing wishes granted to children with critical illnesses across the country. Additionally, Lamar employees will participate in select volunteer activities in the communities where the company and Make-A-Wish share a presence.

Make-A-Wish helps children build the physical and emotional strength they need to manage and overcome serious and life-threatening illnesses. Since its founding in 1980, the organization has granted more than 360,000 wishes.

Lamar has a long history of using its national Out of Home Network, consisting of static and digital billboards as well as displays in transit and high-trafficked locations, for charitable purposes and initiatives that benefit the communities in which the company operates. Lamar will support four national Make-A-Wish campaigns during the year, helping to build brand awareness and even incorporating billboards into local wish granting. The first billboard campaign for World Wish Day will kick off in April.

In addition to Make-A-Wish, Lamar will continue to donate and allocate digital billboard space to other worthy causes throughout the year.
