The AdAi Conference TechFlash

Always keen to change things up a bit and try something new we have an incredibly interesting ‘TechFlash’ session at next week’s AdAi Conference in Toronto [1].

[2]Under the watchful eye of COMMB’s Head of Member Engagement and Programming Elizabeth Crisante, four entrepreneurial companies; Docma [3], Environics Analytics [4], SingleStore [5] and Spotzi [6] wil take to the stage, introduce themselves and invite the audience to visit them in the exhibition hall in between all of the afternoon sessions (and indeed the evening cocktails as well).

Elizabeth is a bit of an entrepreneur herself, as well as being a seasoned advertising professional who has seamlessly transitioned from a career in law. Prior to embracing the media world, she worked at her family’s law firm for over five years and obtained her Juris Doctorate.

During her time in law school, Elizabeth co-founded an innovative OOH technology startup that transformed the windows of vacant retail spaces into immersive and real-time content and advertising. This entrepreneurial venture laid the foundation for her dynamic approach to blending creativity with technology.

With close to a decade of experience in advertising, Elizabeth leverages her legal background to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences while aligning with brand objectives and demographics.

Elizabeth’s unique background and expertise led her into experiential advertising and event production where she now serves as the Head of Member Engagement and Programming at COMMB. At COMMB, her passion for event production and deep understanding of balancing creativity and strategy ensures that member objectives and voices are heard in the OOH industry.

We really couldn’t have a better moderator for this session.

The AdAi conference is produced and curated by the Canadian Out-of-Home Marketing and Measurement Bureau [7]in collaboration with DailyDOOH and is sponsored by Broadsign, DAAC, Environics Analytics, docma, Intersection, OpenGravity, Pattison, Quividi, Single Store, Spotzi, Teralytics and the Vector Institute.

Individual tickets cost CAD 395 (COMMB members should contact the association for a discount code) and registration can be found here [1].

The conference is hosted by COMMB’s Director of Marketing Lara Menzies and chaired by COMMB’s Head of Data Science Farrokh Mansouri.

[1]At COMMB, Farrokh works on novel approaches to incorporate new data, analytics, and technologies for OOH measurements and marketing. He comes from a highly multidisciplinary background with experience applying data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in the fields of transit, medicine, climate science, and finance. Farrokh has previously built and managed technical teams in various startups and large companies and holds a BASc, MHSc and PhD in Engineering from the University of Toronto. He has authored over 20 research papers published in prestigious scientific journals.
