Due to expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our core team in the role of Sales Manager [reporting to the Managing Director] who is familiar with the retail and/or brand marketing sector. The candidate will oversee the sales team and ensure that key success factors, revenue targets and business objectives are achieved using our proprietary systems and processes
This very important role sits at the heart of our core business and would suit a target driven individual who is system focused. Due to an expanding sales operation, we require continuous focus on the achievement of KPIs and fulfilment of sales related tasks. The role will encompass the need to train, motivate and achieve the best from others in all aspects of sales including; account management, face to face and field based sales techniques.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be numerate and possess above average IT skills. There is a requirement to adopt and use our in-house IT systems [full training will be given]. You will work alongside our marketing team to ensure regular on-going communication to our client base as well as optimising the group sales focuses and ideation throughout the calendar year.
A qualification in marketing and/or business would be an advantage
Key aspects which would benefit the candidate in the role include: ability to communicate at a senior level, work under pressure and tight deadlines, creative and lateral thinker, writing and creative skills, previous marketing industry experience, excellent English, above average general IT knowledge, drive, enthusiasm, problem solving skills, results driven, self-motivated and a desire to make a progression in their career.
Effectiveness [and associated bonus related payments] in the role will be measured via a combination of bottom line growth and trend analysis against overall KPI behaviour.
