BeReal, a social media app that encourages users to share a single, unfiltered photo of their life each day at a random time has run its first ever OOH ad campaigns in New York and is next gearing up to do similar in Paris.
This marks the brand’s debut in transit advertising. In New York, BeReal took over Columbia University (October 6 to November 2) with a sleek black-and-white campaign from agency NOISE, meeting students where they are with unfiltered messaging and a reminder that the feed doesn’t have to be endless!
BeReal will soon be launching its Paris Metro campaign (November 12–18) in collaboration with agency Customer Service. We are told that will feature a playful series of blockbuster-style posters (T. rex, clown, zombie, and even a Florida beach) appearing near universities, schools, and gyms as a fun reminder to stay in the moment.
