Media Resources and Outdoorlink late last week announced the global expansion of their long-standing partnership, bringing fully integrated power and remote-management solutions to market.
Media Resources has integrated Outdoorlink’s controllers across its VISIONiQ and eQVISION digital billboard platforms, as well as into the award-winning TruVIEW Transit product line. The result is a seamless combination of advanced LED display technology and intelligent power control that they say helps operators reduce downtime, lower operating costs, and achieve measurable sustainability gains worldwide.
Jeff Rushton, President and CEO of Media Resources. told us “In a time when sustainability and operational efficiency are top priorities, our collaboration with Outdoorlink delivers exactly what operators need, smarter systems that last longer, consume less power, and minimize the need for field maintenance. Together, we’re helping operators boost ROI while reducing environmental impact.”
Outdoorlink’s controllers provide industry-leading remote power management and out-of-band connectivity, allowing operators to monitor, reboot, and resolve display or connectivity issues without dispatching field technicians. The integration enables access through both companies’ network operations portals, providing redundant and seamless control.
“As DOOH networks continue to expand across regions and formats, operators face new operational and environmental challenges,” said Mike Donaldson, Managing Director of Outdoorlink International. “This partnership gives our clients greater control and visibility while reducing the need for on-site service calls. We’re excited to extend these benefits globally with a partner that shares our commitment to smarter, more sustainable operations.”
Outdoorlink’s new system provides proof-of-display verification by directly measuring on-screen light output for certified validation. Meanwhile, Media Resources introduced the TruVIEW Transit platform, an InfoComm 2025 Best of Show winner that replaces outdoor LCDs while using half the power and lasting twice as long.
