Zones, a global provider of end-to-end IT solutions and managed services, recently announced its official expansion into the ProAV industry.
The announcement was made in conjunction with Zones Customer Connect (which took plave in Georgia, Atlanta October 22), the company’s signature technology experience that brings together business leaders and top technology partners to explore how the latest innovations are transforming the future of business.
Doug Eckrote, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Zones told us “There’s never been a better time for Zones to expand into ProAV. AV technology is networked, software-driven, and cloud-enabled, making it a strategic extension of our IT solutions portfolio. Our customers no longer want to manage AV and IT separately; they want a trusted partner who can integrate both seamlessly. Retail and QSR chains are facing real challenges, such as dated signage, inconsistent branding, and the lack of connected customer experiences. Zones can alleviate these pain points with everything from turnkey digital signage and 24×7 monitoring to content management and reliable support services. At the same time, we bring together certified specialists and top technology, logistics and lifecycle management, all under one unified platform”.
Zones is hiring a dedicated ProAV Category Manager and has already established four key launch markets, which include Southern California, Dallas, Cincinnati, and Atlanta.
Building on its strength in cloud, networking, security, and device management, Zones’ entry into ProAV marks a strategic expansion of its core capabilities. The company will begin with a focused launch in the Retail and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sectors, where it already has deep expertise and established customer success. This serves as the foundation for broader expansion into additional vertical markets, where Zones will replicate and scale its unified IT + AV delivery model over time.
