The annual gathering of the UK AV industry takes place tonight at the Hilton on Park Lane, London. Russ Curry will be joining me and we will be guests of ISE and ONELAN (thanks guys!).
[1]ONELAN are sponsoring the award [2] that they won last year, the so-called Digital Signage Manufacturer of the Year award.
AV Magazine have done themselves no favours by not publishing who exactly has been shortlisted in each category so it’s impossible for us to guess (as we did with 100% accuracy) who will win. Anyway they actually have a good judging panel this year and we have no reason to believe that there will be any surprises.
Jason Cremins may walk away a happy man this evening (or early hours of Saturday morning depending on how much he wishes to celebrate) as he is shortlisted for an award in 3 categories: –
- Digital Signage Project of the Year – for the RFID interactive digital signage project implemented by signagelive partner Lime IT for Estee Lauder and their Lab Series brand
- Digital Signage Product Of the Year – for signagelive the SaaS platform
- Digital Signage Manufacturer of the Year – For Remote Media the company behind signagelive
Anyway we look fwd to meeting up with old friends and new.
