A new initiative we noticed from Amscreen [1] over the weekend in the BP petrol station forecourts where they have screens.
The LED ticker at the top of their screen prompts viewers to “Text ADS to 88**2” if they are interested in advertising on the network.
A Digicom [2] spokesperson told us that it was “an Amscreen initiative to drive local sales” and that it was “new initiative – a couple of weeks old – so they haven’t yet had any results”
We are sure this has been done before but nice to see anyway.
