Zoom Kurumsal Becomes Reseller In Turkey

Blimey, hot on the heels of announcements of VAR agreements in France and Morocco comes another one, this time in Turkey.

Here we see the change of strategy that Philippe Gribeauval, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pixman, told us about when we interviewed him for our CEO Spotlight earlier this year

At that time we asked Philippe “There has been some changes in your franchise model recently – a move to more of a reseller / VAR model – how did that come about and what is your strategy going forward?” and here we see a licensee becoming a VAR.

Montreal, June 3, 2008 – Pixman Nomadic Media Inc. (TSXV: “PMN”) (“Pixman”) is pleased to announce the signature of an agreement with Zoom Kurumsal (“Zoom”). Zoom, who until now was a Pixman licensee, is now going to be a Value Added Reseller (“VAR”) in Turkey. According to this agreement, Zoom will benefit from a wider range of Pixman products and applications.

Engin Akinci, Managing Director of Zoom, said: “We are very proud to be part of Pixman’s VAR program since we see it as a privilege. We have achieved a lot since our beginnings as a licensee just over a year ago. We have developed commercial relations with major local and international brands, such as Unilever, Samsung, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Turkcell and Garanti Bank, and we have started working closely with them. We feel confident that with Pixman Europe’s continuous support our results will increase during this fiscal year, since all indications show a growing demand for Pixman products in our market”.

“We are delighted to be signing this agreement with our Turkish partner (Zoom), who stood out with an impressive profile,” said Philippe Gribeauval, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pixman. “This confirms that the VAR program meets better the needs of our partners. Thus, we intend to continue providing this new business solution to our current license partners”.

Pixman really do seem to be a company to watch going forward.
