Back in March 2008 we were one of the first to cover the story “Digital Advertising On The Strip”  – our take on it was that it was (a) great and (b) verification of one of our predictions for 2008 – that of ‘Street Furniture’ becoming a predominant force in the digital out of home world.
This week we believe that Outdoor Promotions  – the folks behind the “Digital Advertising On The Strip” actually start their installs in the famous Las Vegas strip.
They will be using the V-shaped wedge (the US equivalent of a 6 sheet) like the one shown in the picture above for the installation.
We took a good, long look at this wedge where it was appearing, slightly incognito, at InfoComm 08 – it’s truly a great piece of design; vandal proof, well cooled and bright (as it would need to be to cope with Las Vegas). Very impressive.
