Children’s Specialized Hospital of Mountainside, New Jersey, preeminent provider of pediatric rehabilitation services and the largest comprehensive children’s rehabilitation system in the U.S. ,has developed a one-minute video highlight reel to promote a new program, Make Friends with Autism.

With the video currently in DVD format, the Hospital hope to have it run in theatres prior to movie showings, as well as other suitable media.

Approximately 1.5 million people in the U.S. are living with autism, and the current estimate of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is approximately 1 in 100. The program is designed to educate business partners and communities about autism and provide the tools necessary to support positive community partnerships.

Make Friends with Autism offers a bilingual (English-Spanish) multi-media approach that provides significant resources for businesses, recreation providers and families with children who have autism.

This program is made possible by the Kohl’s KidsAbilities program at Children’s Specialized Hospital through the Kohl’s Cares for Kids program by Kohl’s Department Stores, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
