Aker Brygge Container Install

We have seen (whole) pop-up stores in containers before (Puma City see here [1]) but never an interactive video wall display inside one.

[2]Here we see Visual Planet’s ViP Interactive Foil™ [3] overlaying four x 46’’ NEC LCD thin bezel monitors, with a 15mm gap between glass and monitor.

It’s a pilot project designed and deployed by Back AS [4] and Touch-It [5] for the Coastal Society in Norway to provide the City’s history and tourist information to those visiting the busiest shopping and business area in Oslo.

The display software incorporated Google Maps and Adobe Flash programs whilst allowing users to add their own information via a multi-lingual web based interface consequently sharing points of interest, informative articles and pictures of their experiences.

This creative installation promoted the Jetty’s surrounding area with attractive and inviting display technology whilst highlighting the ViP Interactive Foil’s capability to interact with large audiences in any external environment.
