Andy West has joined Warner Home Entertainment Canada [1], Toronto, as director, digital distribution.
With more than 10 years experience in the entertainment business, West was recently senior business manager for Yahoo! Music Canad [2]a, a digital music service that he launched and managed since 2005.
“Digital distribution is a relatively new division for Warner Home Entertainment,” says Awnish Srivastava, the company’s vice-president marketing. “It recognizes the rapidly growing importance of digital distribution to the home entertainment industry as a whole. Andy West has both the vision and the progressive experience to lead Warner into the future of digital distribution.”
In his recent position with Yahoo! Music Canada, West managed digital distribution business models and services including content acquisition and consumer promotion. His past experience includes marketing roles at Sony Music Canada [3] and murderecords [4] along with agency experience in advertising and marketing.
