A deal such as this makes perfect sense but it’s only a rumour we are hearing at the moment that Access 360 Media [1] is likely to acquire Arena Media Networks [2].
One industry insider who for obvious reasons didn’t want to be named told us yesterday in fact that “I heard two weeks ago from a NYC contact that Arena was going down or already down the tubes” – again that is only hearsay but the pieces of the puzzle fit together so expect an announcement of yet more consolidation in the industry shortly.
