Back in June, rumours flew around the UK industry as Sir Alan Sugar hinted that his Apprentice winner, Lee McQueen, was to work in the ‘Digital Signage Industry’ – and according to some, comments made by Lee after the show, “Sir Alan has already identified a target for acquisition within the industry”
Well, one of the strangest rumours ever to cross our desk came our way over the weekend – namely that Alan Sugar wants to win the BPTV business and is desperately putting together a detailed bid proposal for it.
Stranger things have happened, though we think that Sir Alan is far too clever a business man to ‘take all the risk and make all the investment’ as the terms of the RFP currently state.
