Irvine, California-based PumpTop TV, out-of-home digital media network that reaches millions of motorists at gas stations across the country, is featuring original ‘green’ themed content to commemorate Earth Day, April 22, 2010.
The company will spend two weeks highlighting topics such as climate policy, energy efficiency and green jobs on its programming. It will feature ‘green’ experts from different entertainment and information providers, as well as non-profit organizations who are offering unprecedented opportunities to help build a healthier planet.
While most of the content is being shown on a national basis, LiveEarth.org is one of the content providers taking advantage of PumpTop TV’s local reach customization capabilities by announcing ‘Run for Water and Help Solve the Water Crisis’ events for individual cities. These banner announcements are customized for each participating city, using PumpTop TV’s ability to customize content to reach consumers through hyper local targeting that allows advertisers to focus their message by ZIP codes, markets, address, and even customer segments.
In addition to the Live Earth banners, PumpTop is displaying other such messages as: ‘Did you know that the U.S. has less than 4% of its forests left?’ and ‘Did you know that air pollution costs the U.S. as much as $40 billion annually in health care spending and lost productivity?’
