#ScreenMediaExpo – Delivering On The Promise

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

The Harris presentation ‘Delivering on the Promise’ at #ScreenMediaExpo might be interesting – Day 1 Channel 3 Screen Feed 1430-1500

Now where did I leave my tie?

Ian Collis, Director of Marketing, Harris Broadcast Communications – EMEA is set to speak but let’s hope it’s not just a sales and marketing spiel in disguise. We are generally interested in knowing how Harris has “leveraged expertise from other industries to support the ongoing investment in Digital Signage”

Ian’s session should explore a number of critical success factors for developing and managing a network and will provide an overview on developing content and delivering this content with due consideration of the whole value chain and workflow to ensure the promise of effective and targeted communications is fully met.

Attendees we are told will leave with a better understanding of how Harris’s positioning, ambition and range of businesses within their portfolio allow them to provide an end to end visual communications solution.

Anyway, as Harris promise to share a number of insights from their broadcast experience that will bring real value to consumers, content owners, operators and customers in the signage and DOOH arena we will probably sit thru it.

About Ian Collis

Ian has worked in the Broadcast and Professional Video Business for over 25 years. The major part of that was with Sony leading to senior management responsibilities across the EMEA sales and marketing organisations and well as an earlier assignment in North America to support the introduction of the first digital recording technologies to the Broadcast industry in the late 1980’s.

Ian joined Harris Broadcast 3 years ago and is based out of the EMEA headquarters in the UK and is responsible for the Marketing and Business development of the full Harris Broadcast portfolio of products as well as directly leading the strategic growth initiative within EMEA for the Digital Signage business.
