iDklic has announced a deployment with a new Belgian pharmacy chain, the Universal Pharma pharmacy group which has initially seen iDklic’s tailor-made plug & play technology, ID Media Screen, rolled out in the Brussels region.
Universal Pharma TV is a health related TV channel dedicated to pharmacies aimed at providing health-related information and interactive advertising to its clients at the point of purchase. IDklic’s experience in pharmacy channels was the main reason why Universal Pharma chose them to deploy their own instore TV.
Jean-Charles Figoni, iDklic’s CEO told us “We believe that digital signage in pharmacies has great potential to create additional revenue streams for retailers and pharmaceutical companies. Universal Pharma had been searching for a medium to communicate to its public pharmaceutical products and health messages to its public.”
He added “The objective of the network is to sell branded ad space over the Pharmacy TV Channel. The broadcasts follow the pattern of a standard TV program, containing news, weather forecasts, an events calendar, daily medical advice, medical messages, and branded commercials advertising OTC drugs, cosmetics, dressing materials, and medical services.”
At the moment it seems, iDklic has proven to be the only digital signage agency in Belgium to successfully combine network management, selling advertising space and content creation.
