TruMedia have put together a very good video explanation of what their audience measurement system is all about. They specifically address the number one concern the general public has about such systems, namely privacy, and tackle this concern directly and rather well.

My company has been a big user of this kind of technology, and honestly, this is a terrible video to explain audience measurement data software. This video is way too futuristic and would scare most users of this kind of technology away.
Keep it simple guys, and inspire marketers on how to use this kind of data….don’t freak them out.
