Petsky Prunier Deal Notes

Chris Sheldrake

Investment Banker Petsky Prunier’s Deal Notes are always well worth a read.

They describe this quarter (2Q10) as ‘quiet’ for the sector ‘Out-of-Home & Specialty Media’ (as they describe it) and detail six transactions totaling approximately USD 108 million having been announced.

They go on to say that “Compared to the previous quarter, deal volume was flat; aggregate transaction value, however, nearly doubled”.

Two of the transactions detailed are ones that we have previously discussed…

  1. Access 360 Media’s acquisition of Arena Media Networks out of bankruptcy for $6.2 million
  2. Zoom Media & Marketing’s acquisition of Sports Display

And if the rumours we hear are true then there will be a couple more announced shortly from Zoom.
