Forrest Media (part of the Forrest Group) recently laid claim to a technology first with bluecasting. As it is so patently not a technology first in Digital OOH it doesn’t deserve mention here but what was interesting was Chris Trainer’s buoyish statement below…
“Five years from now, Forrest would have at least one digital screen in a central location in every city in the UK”
Chris is head of Forrest Group, the parent company of the media division.
Forrest Media are awaiting planning permission for two more Digital sites it has earmarked for London and Birmingham, with a view to setting them up in early 2008.
I believe that they are also looking at Dublin and one other UK city centre.
