Are Your Bits Blue?

The UK’s NHS (National Health Service) is using a Bluetooth enhanced campaign at Manchester Airport designed to encourage young people to have themselves tested for the sexually transmitted infections, Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea.

Alan Gibbons, Group Sales Manager, Eye Fly UK told us “We were delighted to welcome this project onboard by the NHS. We created a bespoke campaign which allowed them to target a younger audience in the most effective way”.

The campaign, running on EYE’s enhanced lightboxes [1] allows people to request a free testing kit from the NHS with absolute discretion. The Chlamydia testing kit can be received by sending a free SMS to a designated number or via a Bluetooth signal from one of the enhanced lightboxes bearing the RUclear campaign.
