In the UK,, Cannons Health Clubs and LA Fitness are rumoured to be in talks which could lead the two health club chains to merge.
Primesight have the 6 sheet contract for both Cannnons and LA Fitness and the Boomerang Digital / Healthclub Channel have the screen contract for LA Fitness.
If the fitness groups merged, I am told that Clubcom (the company behind the Healthclub infrastructure) would definitely pitch for the Cannons Screen business.
As L.A Fitness already know that Boomerang Digital have brought in far more media revenue than Primesight then the likelihood of more screens should be high.
