Digital Signage Federation Choose Their Expo

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

Obviously figuring they (the DSE and the DSF) had to get some form of release out before the DSA announced their trade show selection (which we believe is imminent) a press release late on Wednesday evening unveiled a not too-surprising collaboration.

The agreement makes DSE the trade association’s Official Trade Show and makes DSF the Exclusive Digital Signage Association Sponsor of the trade show.

Rich Cooley, Chairman of the DSF told us “This Agreement provides the DSF with a business partner who is well-established in our industry, understands and respects the need for our organization to be thoroughly independent, and will make a depth of resources available enabling the DSF to initiate and deliver a host of industry initiatives that are currently in the planning stages.”

For more information about the DSF, how you can become involved, or to join the Digital Signage Federation and sign up for open committee positions, visit www.digitalsignagefederation.org. The DSF’s President/CEO, John Johnson, can also be reached at john@digitalsignagefederation.org.

For the record, the agreement between DSF and DSE took months to negotiate, and was only completed days ago. The plans of DSA or anyone else had absolutely zero to do with the announcement.
