The lounge is located in the Digital Signage Lounge area in Hall 3, stand H23. Bloggers will find comfortable seating and free WiFi access. The lounge is accessible for bloggers only. Interested persons can obtain accreditation for access to the Blogger Lounge here before the start of the trade fair.

Viscom, the international trade fair for visual communication (media, advertising, copywriting and publishing services) aims at meeting the requirements of the ever growing community. Bloggers are part of a 360-degree communication context in which viscom brings exhibitors and visitors together this year – a holistic approach demonstrating how various channels interact to transport a message.

“With the Blogger Lounge we want to attract influential industry commentators directly to the place where it all happens and, at the same time, create a comfortable work environment for them,” says Petra Lassahn, viscom director. In a quiet, screened-off area which, as part of the Digital Signage World, is nevertheless in a central location in the hall, bloggers can exchange views with other bloggers and discuss the trade fair, the industry and its innovations. This way, the industry’s concerns are also made more widely known to various sectors of the public.

“Bloggers have re-written the rules on how industries are watched and analysed,” says Adrian Cotterill, DailyDOOH editor-in-chief. “It’s great that the viscom organisers have had the foresight to cater for them in such a way. We wanted to put together an area that was comfortable and relaxing, and would allow our own writers and our friends who cover the industry to sit, write, meet and catch their breath. This is going to be the place where a lot of the buzz around viscom Frankfurt will be created and relayed to readers all over the globe.”
