Blyk Raises USD 21.9 Million New Financing

Helsinki, Finland-based Blyk, provider of mobile advertising technology, has raised USD 21.9 million in new financing, led by Nexit Ventures, also of Helsinki.

Blyk’s mobile ad technology uses interactive text and multimedia messaging. It works with mobile operators and advertisers to connect young people with the brands they like.

The company has partnerships with Orange in the U.K. and Vodafone in the Netherlands, and is reportedly planning to soon launch commercially in India.

Blyk was founded in 2006.
