PSCo Sign Up For NanoLumens

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

PSCo have just added NanoLumens to their arsenal of videowall type technologies: back in April they announced that they were bringing Prysm to the UK and in September we cheekily pointed out that they had also bought a big pile of MicroTiles! This latest addition, adding no doubt to more traditional LCD based video wall solutions makes them well placed for comparisons.

Bend it like Stuart...

NanoLumens of course is not only flexible, but also thin, lightweight and extremely efficient in its power consumption.

PSCo is currently offering the technology as a 112” screen, designed for both indoor and outdoor use – there’s a promise that In the longer term the products will be able to be custom manufactured to any size or shape.

Stuart Holmes, Managing Director of PSCo told us “NanoLumens is one of the most exciting technologies that I have seen for years. We are delighted to be distributing the screen in the UK and Ireland and forging new verticals for LED, taking advantage of its flexible and lightweight qualities. This means it can be positioned in locations that would have previously been out of bounds for flat screen displays. At just 41kg, this is a product which keeps infrastructure costs to a minimum, while delivering a very bright, high quality display.”

PSCo and NanoLumens have signed a UK and Ireland partnership for the distribution of the technology, and PSCo will be supporting the launch of the product throughout Europe. The screen is now available for viewing at PSCo’s Reading demonstration suite.

PSCo will be offering a unique suite of accessories to support the product, including a flexible rail system to help installation of the screen up to 43°. The 6mm pixel pitch enables the screen to display stunning graphics and full motion video.

NanoLumens will be on stand 1K113 at #ISEUROPE and we understand that representatives from both NanoLumens and PSCo will be on the stand.
