People moves are flying across our desk this week and we took particular note of these:

As CFO, Eller will oversee the financial operations of Clear Channel International and work closely with William Eccleshare CEO, Jonathan Bevan, COO, and CCI’s executive committee on financial, operational, capital, and strategic initiatives. He will be based in London, U.K..

As Eller takes on his CFO responsibilities, COO Jonathan Bevan will assume leadership of CCI’s growth strategy and line responsibility for the organization’s Hub functions of IT and Operations. CCI’s sales operations function will also fall under Bevan’s leadership and will embrace internal sales initiatives such as CRM, sales force effectiveness and yield management.

Eller moves to CFO after serving as senior vice- president, corporate development and strategic planning at Clear Channel Communications for six years, where he directed the acquisition, divestiture, capital investment, and strategic planning process for the Company’s radio and outdoor divisions. The Company has begun a search for his replacement.

Prior to joining Clear Channel, Eller worked with Private Equity Partners in Fort Worth and Bowles Hollowell Conner, a mergers and acquisition firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Braun brings to NeoMedia wealth of experience in traditional and digital media background from a career spanning more than 20 years with companies such as CBS, USA Network and Turner Broadcasting. He will initially be focused on driving brand and agency sales in North America for two of NeoMedia’s premium products, NeoSphere, a reliable, secure and globally available mobile barcode management platform, and NeoReader, a code-scanning software application for mobile phones.

Laura Marriott, CEO, NeoMedia, says “Braun’s knowledge and understanding of the mobile media space will help us maximize our opportunities in the growing mobile barcode marketplace.”

Braun was recently responsible for sales and business development at mobile media solutions provider GoldSpot Media. Earlier, he was the CEO of The Hyperfactory’s mobile analytics company, Agent M., overseeing a global team of planners, designers and developers, where he was responsible for the creation of an advanced analytic measurement tool that brought accountability and insight to mobile marketing programs. He has also been the CEO of TMT Media, one of the largest direct response media buying and management companies in the US, where he helped to bring Sabela Media, later known as 24/7 Real Media, an early force in online ad serving to the US market. Braun was also a pioneer in making the case to national brands for mobile advertising at Moviso.

At Screenvision, Connor heads up National and Regional Sales, Central Region, and McIlwain leads National and Regional Sales, Western Region. Both will plan, direct, and coordinate all advertising sales activities within their respective regions, as well as develop sales and advertising strategies, oversee the development and integration of new account acquisitions and enhance current client partner relations.

Connor joins Screenvision with a strong television background and over 16 years of sales management experience. He recently held sales management positions with Akoo International Inc. and WBBM-TV, CBS 2 in Chicago. McIlwain, a long-time Telemundo employee, began his career in local sales at Telemundo’s flagship station in Los Angeles, KVEA-TV eventually landing as Director of Sales for Telemundo National Sales Organization in 2004. He also served as Director of Marketing and Business Development for the West Coast and Texas Regions at NBC from 2002 through 2004.

Postmedia Network Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Postmedia Network Canada Corp., is the largest publisher by circulation of paid English-language daily newspapers in Canada. It offers advertisers and marketers integrated solutions to effectively reach target audiences through a variety of print, online, digital, and mobile platforms.
