ISE 2011’s GreenScreen Conference has unveiled its agenda for Wednesday 2nd February, RAI Amsterdam, where it will address issues related to the environmental impact that digital signage networks will bring unless we take action.

The conference will include a discussion panel, suggesting 12 steps companies can take to adhere to the GreenScreen initiative.

Eric Penot, Digital Media Director, JCDecaux will talk about ‘Building a sustainable digital network’.

Penot is responsible for JCDecaux’s technology choices and will discuss how the green agenda is affecting his equipment and supplier selection.

How technology can move the goalposts’ will be the theme of the presentation by Steve Scorse – Vice President EMEA, Prysm. Prysm’s video wall technology claims to reduce power consumption by using Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) technology – see our post ‘Drinking Prysm’s Kool-Aid’ here, Ed

Scorse will discuss how the green agenda is affecting the supplier selection and how no companies can afford to ignore the issue.

Admission for the morning event is EUR 50 (online pre-registration), but all attendees will automatically be given a free pass to ISE.
