Interesting that Erik Huggers the BBC’s head of future media and technology is set to leave the Beeb [1] at the end of February to take charge of Intel’s digital home group.
Erik oversaw development of the iPlayer and during his tenure directed the delivery of content over the internet, interactive TV and on mobile devices – so basically all the things that the BBC License Fee payer pays for and which the BBC have absolutely no remit to undertake or deliver.
Please, please, please let me be part of the BBC Trust [2] and put a stop to this madness.
