#DSE2011 – Apex Awards Finalists

Digital Signage Expo, the world’s largest and longest running conference and trade show exclusively dedicated to the digital signage, interactive technology and digital-out-of-home industries, has announced 30 finalists for its 2011 Apex Awards.

The annual DSE Apex Awards honor innovation in the development and deployment of technology in the global DOOH industry. Nominees are the end use site of the installation.

Chosen by an independent panel of five industry journalists, this year’s Apex Award finalists were named from a field of 78 entrants vying in 10 major digital signage categories. Gold, Silver and Bronze Apex Awards will be presented in each category at a special awards banquet slated for the opening night of DSE 2011 on Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 7-9 p.m. at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

Digital Signage Expo 2011, co-located with the Interactive Technology Expo, Out-of-Home Network Show, and Digital Content Show, is scheduled for Feb. 22-25, 2011, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. More than 180 exhibitors will feature technology and services including hardware, software, network, delivery and content from around the globe. DSE also offers the largest and most diversified digital signage and digital out-of-home educational program anywhere, with more than 150 educators and 100 education opportunities, including a live installation tour and structured curriculum leading to professional re-certification in nine educational tracks. The program is comprised of more than 50 seminars, 36 targeted round-table discussions and numerous free presentations staged in two on-floor theaters.
