3D Digital In-Bar Campaign

Unfortunately we just learned of this as its ended, but thought it was worth mentioning that Bacardi [1] was the first advertiser to take advantage of Panel Media & Marketing [2]’s rollout of 3D screens in 10 of New York City’s most popular venues.

[3]These 3D screens can be viewed without the need for 3D glasses. Bacardi’s 30-second ‘Discover Bacardi Together’ spot started running in mid-Dec./10 on Panel Media & Marketing’s 3D screens as well as on Panel’s 2D digital network in over 100 of New York City’s most popular bars, clubs and lounges. The ad ran every 10 minutes, generating millions of targeted impressions during the one-and-a-half months of the campaign.

“Bacardi is a terrific fit for our targeted network,” says Michael Farrell, Panel partner/ad sales, of the recognized and well-regarded rum brand. “Panel Media & Marketing delivered Bacardi’s excellent 2D and 3D creative efficiently and effectively to its key demographic while driving sales at the point of purchase.”

Among outstanding results was that of one of Panel Media & Marketing‘s key New Your City partners, Dallas BBQ [4], which ordered an additional 50,000 bottles of Bacardi Superior due to the recent surge in demand for the brand.

“Bacardi has easily become our #1 selling alcohol brand since it started advertising on Panel Media’s digital TV screens last year,” says Eric Levine, director of operations, Dallas BBQ.

Panel Media & Marketing offers its network of 42” HD screens in over 100 of New York City’s most popular bars, clubs and lounges. Content includes a mix of Fashion TV, trivia and social interactive media, reaching more than 3 million people each month.

Panel worked with 3D Impact Media [5] on the Bacardi project. The Bacardi campaign media was planned and bought by KSL Media [6] and MacDonald Media [7]. All are of New York.
