AMX Redesigns Inspired XPert

AMX launched a new version of its Inspired XPert digital signage platform at #iseurope last week. Although most of the things AMX was showing were its (old) Inspired Signage side of the business I have seen before, Hannah Flanagan, digital media group specialist, walked me through how the company’s signage is now focusing more on the especific functionalities they can offer to its clients; such as local updates related to weather changes or special in-store promotions to keep digital signage up to date.

The new version of that Inspired XPert platform improves support for large signage deployments.

IS-PLAYER-200

AMX has also halved the size of the IS-SPX player. The new IS-SPX-2000 player that easily fits adjacent displays in digital signage deployments and simplifies installation for dealers. “I can now actually carry the player with for demos at clients’ sites,” commented Flanagan.

This player, which  replaces the existing rack mounted player, is paired with an enhanced version of Inspired XPert Composer content management software. A recurring problem with large digital signage deployments is the tendency for content to become out of date or its appearance degrade due to uncoordinated or poorly designed content being published by many contributors. Composer incorporates a range of advanced content management and work flow features that help manage large deployments with numerous contributors that eliminate this problem.
