Planar’s Coolsign business division may be up for sale [1] but that hasn’t stopped them winning some of Titan Worldwide’s business.
We believe that in conjunction with its upcoming digital network rollouts, Titan [2] has selected CoolSign [3] software to drive the company’s network currently being built at Chicago Transit Authority rail stations.
This particular network will comprise about 7 screens at each of the CTA’s 144 rail stations, so it’s NOT an insignificant win.
A couple of dozen software offerings were evaluated by Titan during the selection process.

It also doesn’t hurt that the head of Titan’s digital initiative is the co-inventor of the Coolsign software.
