Vote For Your Favorite Poster!

Geny Caloisi

Free London newspaper Evening Standard, has picked up on Outdoor Media Centre’s (OMC) competition to vote for the best billboard poster of all time, a sign of how pertinent OOH is for society in general.

All the posters you can browse on the OMC’s website are print, not digital and they are truly unique. Some of them I wouldn’t mind hanging on my wall! The OMC was able to get hold of these beautiful pieces or art-vertising thanks to The History Of Advertising Trust (H.A.T)

At present the top contestants are: The Tories’ 1978-79 classic Labour Isn’t Working, Eva Herzigova’s Hello Boys and Lord Kitchener Wants You, the recruiting poster from World War I.

Time is running out to cast your vote. The deadline is on March 23rd, so visit www.outdoorhalloffame.co.uk to have another look to the old classics.
